Montgomery Whitewater is looking for energetic, safety-minded individuals to join our raft guide team for the end of the summer and fall season.
What is a Raft Guide?

It’s an active, physically demanding job that combines leadership, teamwork, customer service, and adventure, all in an outdoor environment.

- Successful completion of Guide School is followed by a guide check-off process, where participants demonstrate the skills required to safely guide commercial rafting trips.
Get Hired. Get Rewarded.
Participants who:
- Successfully complete the 4-day Guide School
- Successfully complete the guide check-off process
- Pass a background check
- Are hired as Montgomery Whitewater staff
Swimming Requirements
Excellent swimming skills are mandatory.
A swim assessment will be conducted on the first day of Guide School. Participants who do not successfully meet the required swimming standards will not be permitted to continue in the course. No exceptions.
