Join us for a 5K and 1-mile fun run to commemorate the opening of Montgomery Whitewater. The 5K course will take participants through the facility with the start and finish at the Raft Barn. Top finishers will be given awards for overall and 5-year age groups. All proceeds from the event will go to the Whitewater Foundation which will partner with the Central Alabama Community Foundation to provide whitewater experiences to disadvantaged individuals.
The 5K begins at 8 a.m. followed by the 1-mile Kid/Fun Run at 9 a.m.
The Raft Race is a competition between teams from Montgomery businesses. Made up of 4 to 6 paddlers, competitors must register in advance. The race will be a timed run from top-to-bottom on the adventure channel. The fastest boat wins!
Register Here. The cost is $1000 per boat (4-6 paddlers) and includes access to the Rafter’s VIP Area and drink tickets. Boat, paddles, life jackets, and helmets are provided. We will also provide training and some time to practice before you start. Once registered, you will receive an email with more details to pass along to your team.
