Raft Guide School Registration - Montgomery Whitewater

We are stoked you want to become a Raft Guide!

To be considered for employment, participants must complete each full day of guide school and be able to swim. No exceptions. Please do not sign up for a date that you are not available for the entirety of the course. Montgomery Whitewater now offers both 5 day and weekend-only guide school courses to accommodate busy schedules.

Important Information

Participants must complete the entire day of each session. No exceptions. All sessions run from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with a one-hour lunch break.

Completion of Montgomery Whitewater’s Guide School does not guarantee employment. After finishing the program, prospective guides must successfully complete a check-off process to demonstrate their skills and readiness for the role. Additionally, all guides must pass a background check before being considered for employment. While we are invested in your success and provide the necessary training, it is ultimately up to you to meet the standards required to join our team.
