River Explorers: On Land Introductory Kayaking 

Alabama Scenic River Trail’s River Explorers Program utilizes a fun and engaging on-land classroom to deliver safety and basic kayaking skills in a welcoming environment. Our small group experiences hope to introduce as many participants as possible to the water, we hope that future users and stewards of our rivers and streams emerge.

Our classroom is a one-hour experience that is open to any child between the ages of 6-12 years old who has a desire to learn about kayaking and on water safety and skills. The program will take place on land in an interactive setting that can help get your child safely on the water.
