All Forward Raft Race

The All Forward Festival is back for year four of rivalry on the river, now bigger than ever with competitions and entertainment for all ages.
While the festival has grown, the heart of the day remains the same: head-to-head raft racing down the competition channel! The All Forward Raft Race challenges businesses, clubs, and friend groups to battle it out down Montgomery Whitewater’s Competition Channel. Teams compete in bracket-style heats throughout the day, with winners advancing toward a final showdown for the title and, most importantly, bragging rights.

RACE FORMAT
Races are head-to-head and not timed.
Winners advance through a bracket to the championship race.
Teams that do not advance move into a secondary bracket to compete for 3rd place.

Run Paddle Run
9 am | $35 Registration | Ages 12+
Run Paddle Run is a fast-paced, multi-discipline race in Montgomery Whitewater’s Adventure Race Series. The course features a 1.5-mile run, a 2,200-foot creek-channel paddle in inflatable kayaks (duckies), and finishes with another 1.5-mile run back to the raft barn. Montgomery Whitewater provides all paddling equipment, including helmet, PFD, ducky, and paddle (no personal kayaks permitted).
Total run distance: 3 miles (two 1.5-mile segments)
Paddle distance: 2,200 feet
Transition area: Raft Barn
Equipment provided: Helmet, PFD, ducky, and paddle (MW duckies only)
Awards: Medals for the top 3 female and male finishers

Lil' Tri Triathlon
presented by Baptist OrthoNow
10 am | $25 Registration | Ages 6-10
Montgomery Whitewater’s “Lil Tri” puts a fun spin on the traditional triathlon by challenging young athletes to run, bike, and PADDLE across the finish line. Open to kids ages 6 to 11, Lil’ Tri consists of a 250-yard flatwater paddle, a 700-yard bike ride, and an 880-yard run.
Kids ages 6-10 must have an adult in the ducky (inflatable kayak) for the water portion of the race.
