Montgomery Whitewater is kicking off our spring season with pre-St. Patrick’s Day Shenanigans!

Floatie X Float Race
Floatie X (pronounced Floatie Cross) is a Bring Your Own Float race down the Competition Channel. Participants will race on an inflatable pool float provided by the racer. There is no limit to the number of racers that can ride on a single pool float; however, all team members must be able to successfully stay on top of the float at the start and all team members must be on the float at the finish line to win. Montgomery Whitewater will provide a helmet and PFD. There are no paddles used for Floatie X.
Please bring your float inflated. Also, note that Montgomery Whitewater does not have pool floats for rent or sale.
Check-in starts at 2 p.m. Race starts immediately following Ducky X at 4 p.m.

Online Registration will end on Friday, March 14th at 11:59 p.m. After this time, all racers must enter in person at the Guest Services counter starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 16th. Registration will end at 3 p.m., Saturday, March 16th.
Ducky X
Ducky X (pronounced Ducky Cross) is a mass start, single or tandem, inflatable kayak race down the Competition Channel. Montgomery Whitewater will provide the Ducky, helmet, paddle, and PFD.

Entry Fee
There is a $15 entry fee for the Lucky Ducky races. Racers may participate in one or both races. A $15 discount code will be provided with your registration confirmation which may be applied to a March 16th water activities or season pass (more details below).
Rules and Regulations
- Racers must be 11 years old to participate in both Ducky X and Floatie X (Please note that the Lucky Ducky X age requirement differs from our standard ducky age requirement)
- All racers must sign a waiver and have a wristband, to be received upon check-in.
- Floats for Floatie X:
- Floatie X racers must use inflatable floats that can hold a racer on top in flatwater.
- Homemade floats and arm floats are not permitted.
- Floats must be family-friendly and non-offensive in theme. Montgomery Whitewater reserves the right to refuse participation if float is deemed inappropriate by staff.
- Montgomery Whitewater is not responsible for damage to any personal float.

- All racers must wear a PFD and helmet. These will be provided by Montgomery Whitewater. All personal PFDs must be type III or IV
- Shoes or sandals with back straps are required. Strapless sandals, flip flops and/or CROCS are prohibited.
- Montgomery Whitewater reserves the right to add additional rules and regulations to this event.
