Celebrate the longest day of the year with the Summer Solstice 5K and Lil’ Tri Triathlon at Montgomery Whitewater!
Summer Solstice 5K
9 am | $35 Entry
Kick off the first official day of summer with the Summer Solstice 5K at Montgomery Whitewater! This family-friendly 5K is perfect for runners and walkers of all experience levels looking to celebrate summer with an energetic morning on the trails and around the park.
REGISTRATION INCLUDES
A race t-shirt (if registered by June 8th) and a post-race beverage

Lil’ Tri Adventure Race
presented by Baptist OrthoNow
10 am | $25 Entry
Montgomery Whitewater’s “Lil’ Tri” puts a fun spin on the traditional triathlon by challenging young athletes to run, bike, and paddle, across the finish line. Open to kids ages 6-12, Lil’ Tri consists of a 250-yard flatwater paddle, a 700-yard bike ride, and an 880-yard run.

All day Adventure
After the race, stick around for Breakfast of the Champions at Eddy’s Restaurant and Bar beginning at 10:00 AM, plus celebrate the sun and nature at the Kids Lot, activities opening at 10:30 AM with hands‑on workshops, educational activities for families; featuring tie-dye stations, flower crown making, and more family-friendly fun.
