We Love Bikes Day

Saturday, May 9th

We Love Bikes Day is a collaborative celebration of cycling, adventure, and outdoor fun at Montgomery Whitewater. Families can enjoy free bike skills clinics, a bike rodeo, group rides, and kid‑friendly activities throughout the morning.

 

For riders who want a little friendly competition, the Little Hammies youth bike race is available with paid registration. With activities designed for all ages and adaptive riders, this event focuses on getting outside, riding together, and celebrating every rider.

9 am – 10 am  |  FREE

Participants will learn the fundamentals of road safety, how to properly fit a bicycle and helmet, use hand signals, start and stop safely, and enhance their overall bike-handling skills.

Little Hammies Race

in partnership with Lakeshore Foundation

For ages 12 and under of ALL abilities.
The course length is 0.5 miles, and the number of laps is determined by age group.

Adaptive riders are welcome!

11:30 am Awards
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner per age group

Open to all ages and adaptive cyclists—join our team for a casual, exploratory ride through Montgomery Whitewater, including our trail system.
