Haystack Festival

Montgomery Whitewater is excited to present Haystack Festival! Named after a whitewater paddling term used to describe a series of big, fun, and obstacle-free waves, Haystack will feature free live music on both Friday and Saturday night as well as outdoor activities for all ages. Come out and join us for yoga, Lil Tri kid’s triathlon, and a Kid’s Lot with lawn games, festival face painting, slacklines, tie-dye station and more! Daily whitewater activities will also be available through the weekend.

Bring a chair, your family, and friends! It’s going to be another great weekend at Montgomery Whitewater!

FAQ

What can I bring?
Chairs and blankets are encouraged especially if you're coming for the music or to watch the channels. All outside food and beverage are prohibited. Personal, re-fillable water bottles are permitted.
Is alcohol served on-site?
Yes, alcohol, including beer, wine, and liquor, will be served through Montgomery Whitewater’s Food and Beverage operation. No outside alcohol is permitted.
Can I bring my dog?
We welcome your four-legged furry friend! Dogs must always remain on a leash on the trails and throughout the property. Dogs are not permitted in the water.
Do I need to pay for parking?
Parking is free for the day. Access our parking lot from the western Whitewater Parkway entrance and follow along the designated areas off Base Camp Boulevard. No overnight parking or camping is permitted at this time.
Are concerts free to attend at the Haystack Festival?
Yes! Although we encourage you to participate in our paid activities, we'd love for you to listen to great bands with us, catch the sunset, or watch the action on the whitewater channels. Bring your own chair, or grab a drink on our patio!
